Why have I lost in spite of being the highest bidder?
There is a reserve price set against certain products and to win a bid, one is supposed to enter an amount over and above the reserve price. Even if you are quoted as the highest bidder, you would not be declared a winner since the reserve price would not be met.
You auction panel will clearly inform you if you have won or lost the auction.
