What are Mail Filters?
Mail filters will help keep your account clean. In this section you can:
Stay Organised - This will help you create filters & organise your mails in to folders If you wish to divert certain incoming emails to specific folders, you can use ‘Mail Filters’.
To set up a mail filter, go to Settings > Mail filters > Stay organised
Under ‘Create new filter’ you can choose the criteria that needs to be fulfilled for the email to reach that folder.
Eg: You want all email from Rediff Shopping to come under the folder ‘Great Offers’ which you have created.
You go to My Settings > Mail filters > Stay Organised
You choose ‘Subject’ as your criteria and choose ‘contains’ and write ‘Rediff Shopping’
Now whenever you receive a mail with ‘Rediff Shopping’ in the subject line, the mail shall automatically go the ‘Great Offers’ folder.
Stay Safe - This will help you reduce the incoming un-solicited mails
Here you can choose between:
Enhanced Level – Most of the spam gets filtered at this level. You might receive some un-solicited mails.
Exclusive Level – You will only receive mails from the contacts in your address book.
