How to setup SPF and DKIM text records for your domain

GoDaddy

To add the SPF record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to GoDaddy account.
2. From the navigation toolbar, click DNS and select Manage Zones.
3. Search for your domain to add the SPF record.
4. Under Records section, click add.
5. Enter the following information:
   • Type: Select TXT as the type of record to be added.
   • Host: Enter the domain name.
   • TXT Value: Paste the SPF record details provided by us.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
6. Click Save.

To add the DKIM record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to GoDaddy account.
2. From the Navigation toolbar, choose domains.
3. Search for your domain to add the DKIM record.
4. Under Records section, click ADD.
5. Enter the following information:
   • Type: Select TXT as the type of record to be added.
   • Host: Enter the domain name.
   • TXT Value: Paste the DKIM record details provided by us.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
6. Click Save.

 

HostGator

To add the SPF record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your HostGator account.
2. From the navigation toolbar, choose Manage Orders and click List/Search Orders.
3. Click your domain from the list displayed.
4. Under DNS Management section, clickManage DNS.
5. First, click TXT Records button to add the SPF record and then click Add TXT Record button displayed below it.
6. Enter the following information:
   • Host Name: Enter the domain name.
   • Value: Paste the SPF record details provided by us.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
7. ClickAdd Record.

 

To add the DKIM record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your HostGator account.
2. From the Navigation toolbar, choose Manage Orders and click List/Search Orders.
3. Click your domain from the list displayed.
4. Under DNS Management section, click Manage DNS.

5. First clickTXT Records button to add the SPF record and then click Add TXT Record button displayed below it.
6. Enter the following information:
   • Host Name: Enter the domain name.
   • Value: Paste the SPF record details provided by us.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
7. ClickAdd Record.

 

To add the DKIM record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your BlueHost account.
2. From the Navigation toolbar, choose Manage Orders and click List/Search Orders.
3. Click your domain from the list displayed.
4. Under DNS Management section, click Manage DNS.
5. First, click TXT Records button to add the SPF record and then click Add TXT Record button displayed below it.
6. Enter the following information:
   • Host Name: Enter the domain name.
   • Value: Paste the DKIM record details provided by us.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
7. Click Add Record.

 

Network Solutions

To add a SPF record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your Network Solutions account.
2. Click manage Account on the top right corner of the page.
3. Under My Domain Names, clickEdit DNS
4. From the list of domains displayed, select the domain for which you want to add the record and clickEdit DNS
5. Under Advanced DNS Manager section, clickManage Advanced DNS Records
6. Scroll down and under Text(Text Records) section, clickEdit TXT Records
7. Enter the following information:
   • Host :Enter the domain name.
   • TTL :Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
   • Text :Paste the SPF record details provided by us.
8. ClickContinue to confirm.
9. Finally clickSave Changes.

 

To add a DKIM record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Loginto your Network Solutions account.
2. Click Manage Accounton the top right corner of the page.
3. Under My Domain Names, click Edit DNS
4. From the list of domains displayed, select the domain for which you want to add the record and click Edit DNS
5. Under Advanced DNS Manager section, click Manage Advanced DNS Records
6. Scroll down and under Text(Text Records) section, click Edit TXT Records
7. Enter the following information:
   • Host: Enter the domain name.
   • TTL: Enter how long the server should take to cache the information.
   • Text: Paste the DKIM record details provided by us.
8. Click Continue to confirm.
9. Finally, click Save Changes.

 

WordPress

To add SPF record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your WordPress account.
2. From the navigation toolbar, click My Site.
3. Under Configure section, click Domains.
4. Click the domain for which you want to add the text record.
5. Scroll down and click Name Servers and DNS
6. ClickDNS Records to add new text records.
7. Enter the following information:
   • Type: Select TXT as type of record to add.
   • Name: Enter the domain name.
   • Text: Paste the SPF record details provided by us.
8. ClickAdd New DNS Record.

 

To add DKIM record for your domain, follow these steps:

1. Login to your WordPress account.
2. From the Navigation toolbar, click My Site.
3. Under Configure section, click Domains.
4. Click the domain for which you want to add the text record.
5. Scroll down and click Name Servers and DNS
6. Click DNS Records to add new text records.
7. Enter the following information:
   • Type: Select TXT as type of record to add.
   • Name: Enter the domain name.
   • Text: Paste the DKIM record details provided by us.

8. Click Add New DNS Record.
